That's the great thing about Camp Crucible!
The presenters are here for the entire nine days and are more than willing to spend some time, one-on-one or with a small group, to show you what you missed.
Just stop by and ask, but please remember not to do it when they're in the middle of a scene!

Many of our presenters are scheduled to hold what we're calling "Office Hours" each day. An hour or two in the field, or dungeon or cabin demonstrating their particular personal craft. Robert Dante will be doing that, every afternoon.

Lew Rubens

Experienced rigger and suspension artist, Lew Rubens has a love and passion of bondage that shows in his work.

Known mostly for his wild suspensions, Lew joined the public side of BDSM play spring of 2001 and started his website: BoundNDetermined.com, a year later with his business partner at the time, Maria Shadoes. Then Kink.com made him an offer he couldn't resist and he began running Waterbondage for them from winter 2006, through spring 2008. At that time moving into a "Bondage Consultant" position for the prestigious company.

Lew has presented his workshops and demos of his unique style at many BDSM and bondage industry events throughout the US, Canada, Jamaica and Germany.

On his own again now, Lew has plans to revive Boundndetermined.com and well as starting exciting new sites LewRubens.com and Lewbari.com. as well as contracting his Bondage Consulting knowledge abroad.

Robert Dante is an internationally recognized bullwhip expert who has presented performances, workshops and demonstrations across the United States and Canada, and in England.

Dante has cracked the whip on numerous TV shows, including Evening Magazine, Blind Date, Playboy TV's Night Calls, KTLA's Morning News, The Eclectic Mind, Envy TV, HBO's Real Sex, Blitz, Sin City, and others. Dante is featured in a number of books such as "Absinthe and Flamethrowers: Projects and Ruminations on the Art of Living Dangerously." Dante also has spoken about whip cracking on many radio programs, from Texas to Australia.

A 3-time Guinness World Record holder for most bullwhip cracks in one minute (highest count: 254), Dante also is recipient of the Brian Chic Whip Artistry Award, given by the Society of American Whip Artistry.

Dante has appeared at circuses, at nightclubs, and on stages, and he has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Rex Features Syndicate, Minneapolis Star Tribune, St Paul Pioneer Press, Toronto Star, and many other publications.

To popularize and demystify the art of whip cracking, Dante launched numerous programs, including the Los Angeles Whip Enthusiasts, the Minneapolis Bullwhip Academy, and the Bullwhip Sundays at the Walker Art Center. At the annual Pierce College Farm Days in Los Angeles, Dante created a program that taught children 5-12 years old how to crack bullwhips, awarding each participant a certificate declaring that the child was now officially "supersonic."

And to make whip cracking even more accessible to a wider audience, Dante has put several informative brochures on his website at www.wildwestwhips.com. These PDF files can be downloaded free of charge.

Mary Anderson is Robert Dante's slave, domestic companion, performing partner, and best friend. She is also a former 82nd Airborne paratrooper, daredevil, and psychic (according to Dante).

Xaivia has been an active member in the scene for just over three years now. She took to this lifestyle very quickly and knew it was the perfect environment for her curiosities and educational background. She has an undergraduate degree in Education with a heavy concentration in abnormal psychology; when starting graduate school to become a sex therapist, Xaivia ventured into the lifestyle and never looked back and even went so far as to discontinue the general boring studies of the University. Since the day she was born, she has been in a “show family” and is a third generation show dog breeder. Her training in the show dog world includes professional grooming, showing, training, behavior modification, the correction/socialization of dangerous and disqualified dogs, problematic animals, physical athletic canine conditioning, kennel management, among a variety of other talents. She has adapted her touch and coaching training, along with her personal experience, to the scene and to areas of spiritual, sexual, and relationship growth and healing. Her focus is on touching lives in ways that enhance and enrich. 

Preston brings balance and humor to Beth’s presentations. A technical person by profession, he keeps Beth on focus. He made his 30-year marriage a study in what satisfies a woman. While it may not have succeeded with his first wife, he has developed an incredibly sensitive approach to touching others that he frequently uses to introduce newbies to BDSM through a Sensation Station at Exploratoriums in various settings. He has also paired massage training from Beth with his foot and touch fetishes to offer a truly wonderfully sensual foot or full body massage. After working with Beth through his own issues with erectile dysfunction, he supported Beth through breast cancer surgery, chemo, radiation, and long-term treatment with hormone suppressive drugs. Mako Allen is one of the co-hosts of the Big Little Podcast, a podcast by, about, and for ageplayers.

He's also got a long and storied career in the BDSM and ageplay communities as an advocate, presenter and author. Mako has been an active member of the BDSM community here in DC for more than 15 years. He's
polyamorous, a switch, and an age player, too. He and his poly partners have taught classes about age play at Camp Crucible before, as well as for several BDSM organizations including Black Rose and RODS.

Mako writes the "Tao of Kink" column for Fearless Press.
